This recipe is so versatile, I have made these crackers with several different flavour combinations, as you will see. They are hard to mess up!

These crackers contain chia seeds and don’t need additional flavouring because of the nutty flavour that comes through from the almonds. A super healthy snack rich in omega 3 fatty acids, amino acids and heart healthy fats. These gluten free crackers store very well and could last 10-14 days in an airtight conatiner.

Ingredients

  • 145g ground almonds
  • 5g chia seeds
  • 40g powdered hemp seeds
  • 15g desiccated coconut
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C
  2. Combine all ingredients together.
  3. Make into a ball & place between 2 sheets of baking paper. Roll it out until around 1/2cm thick, then cut into 3cm square crackers. Place on a baking sheet, on top of one of the sheets of baking paper & bake for 15 minutes
